At Rainbow Christian Fellowship we are a diverse family of families which, by adoption in Christ, have been made children of God our heavenly Father and knitted together as one unit. Consequently, we inculcate love, commitment, respect, care and serve to one another as members of the same family.
To give practical expression to our unity in Christ, we seek to do life together as extended family groups by meeting for fellowship (home cells) during the week and practically supporting one another in the flow of daily life.
We teach and connect
Our Children- #Rainbow Kiddies
A ministry focussed on establishing a gospel and missional upbringing of the little children as partakers of God’s promises in the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the church needs to devote itself to shaping the young minds, hearts, and emotions of our children with the gospel of Jesus Christ, praying them into confession Jesus as Lord.
We teach and play.
Our Youth- #Rainbow Young-blood
A vibrant discipleship that is gospel saturated and missional, applied to the present context of the young people within the Rainbow community, and beyond. We seek to lead young people to saving faith in Christ so they may in turn be witnesses to many people, of the amazing grace of salvation at the cross of Jesus.
We teach and give responsibilities.
Our Women- #Rainbow Ladies
Rainbow Christian Fellowship desires to be a healthy, multi-ethnic member of the body of Christ, seeking to see the communities of Olympus and eastern Pretoria transformed by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ through love, discipleship, reconciliation, and social justice
The ministry seeks to provide the ladies with necessary godly tools for their unique, God given role, to be keepers at home, bearing children, and instilling into them all the virtues and qualities of life to be a help meet and support to their husbands in their callings, and to manage their homes in a way that is orderly, peaceful, and blessed for the glory of God.
We teach and support
Our Men- #Rainbow Men
The ministry focus is to assist men grow in Christ, be established in the faith and sound doctrine, connecting other men to a living relationship with Jesus Christ and disciple younger men. Since we also affirm that the man is the head of the home, and that under Christ he is to give godly leadership, seeking to direct his family in the ways of the Lord; we seek to provide them with meaningful tools and character to carry out this task.
We teach and establish
In obedience to the example and commandments of our Lord Jesus Christ, we endeavour to reach out both in Work and Deed to the communities around us. Firstly, in obedience to Jesus’ Great Commission, we seek to share the Gospel of God’s Kingdom and grace to all, and starting in the east of Pretoria, to make disciples of all the nations. Secondly, we seek to practically minister and demonstrate his love for mankind by actively supporting those who are vulnerable and in need.
As part of its outreach ministry, RCF has created the Masibambisane Fund which in Zulu means “let us carry the burden together.” This is a diaconal fund intended for wise intervention on behalf of those who are in need, especially those of the house of God, in particular:
- Children from poor families needing intervention in daily sustenance and schooling needs.
- Disaster relief to families in need– to provide immediate and long-term support.
